Lathe cut record 1 of 1 on x-ray film by Ted Riederer and myself, track cut is Ground Rhythms 1 by Forest Swords, played once along with GR II & III by me at Spectres of Spectacle and then archived to never be played again. Spectres of Spectacle was an event produced by Mercy for AND Festival in association with Samizdat and La Racaille, also featuring Maria Minerva and Anat Ben David of Chicks on Speed.
The next Ground Rhythms event w/Forest Swords will be at AV festival in Newcastle on Saturday the 24th March with The Caretaker.
For a one off commissioned performance Dustin Wong performs his album Infinite Love with the backing of the Liverpool Guitar Orchestra. In association with Liverpool Music Week, Mercy and Samizdat.

It is also the name of the label and club-night that I run and the occasional pseudonym I use for collaborative musical efforts. For more information on the label and club-night there is a list of acts who have played on my last.fm, linked on my tumblr homepage.
Due to the nature of the way I work I thought the use of the term Samizdat effectively summed up the philosophy behind my actions and the ways in which they are achieved.
My logo was designed by illustrator and tattoo artist, Liam Sparkes.
